On October 7-8, 2021, the 11 current members of the project team met at Högberga Gård in Lidingö, nestled among the trees on the Baltic Sea shores just outside of Stockholm. The meeting was the "kickoff" and official launch of the project.
The project team settled on the name Transformative Partnerships 2030 for the project. The team developed a comprehensive plan for implementing the project over the next four years and delivering the outputs promised to Formas, the funding council.
All of the PhD students involved in the project were able to present and receive feedback from senior scholars on their preliminary dissertation plans. The team also discussed recruitment of additional researchers and expansion of the Scientific Advisory Board and Practitioners' Advisory Council.
