On 16 June, the IVM Institute for Environmental Studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam will host the workshop “The SDGs beyond 2030: the role of multistakeholder partnerships”. This workshop is the culmination of the Transformative Partnerships 2030 funded by Formas, a Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development, and a collaboration between researchers from IVM, the Institute for Futures Studies/Institutet för Framtidsstudier Stockholm University, and Lund University.
We are excited to welcome around 40 participants from academia, international organizations, ministries, planning agencies, and civil society to reflect on the future of the SDGs and the post-2030 agenda, with a focus on multistakeholder partnerships.
The program features keynote contributions from Anna Pot and Karin Bäckstrand, interactive discussions, and a panel debate — as well as plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow participants.
