Karin Sundström is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University.
Karin has a PhD in Political Science from Stockholm University. Her research interests include human rights, international organizations, peace and security, sustainable development, and institutional design. Her recent research has focused on national human rights institutions (NHRIs) and on the politics of the United Nations Security Council.
She has an MA in Political Science (with a specialization in international relations) from Stockholm University, and a BA in Political Science, also from Stockholm University. She has also studied at Sorbonne University (Paris IV) and Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris) and at Gothenburg University.
